European Vacation

We did a 24 day, 6 countries and 12 hotels vacation.  It was an amazing time!  It was a bit overwhelming the amount of stuff we saw.  We have been ask what our favorite part was and it is too hard to answer.  This really was like three vacations in one.  We started with the week long Mediterranean cruise, then Spain, Disneyland & Paris was the second followed by U.K. & Ireland.  The kids did a fantastic job and we had a great time!

Hike Through Wales

The last thing we did on our trip was a hike in Wales.  It was awesome!  We pulled over on the side of the road and started hiking.  We saw some beautiful waterfalls, grazing sheep.  It was a wonderful way to end the trip!

 

 

 

Last Drive

We took the ferry from Dublin Ireland back to Holyhead, Wales.  We stayed the night in Wales before heading back to London.  The drive through Wales was beautiful.

 

Guinness Store House

Neither Tom or I are huge Guinness drinkers.  It is like drinking a meal in Tom's words.  But since it is the beer of Ireland we had to do a tour of the store house.  It was impressive and huge!  We raced through it as we needed to catch our ferry back to Wales.  We enjoyed our time and the kids were impressed as well.

 

 

 

Roof Top Bar

Christ Church

To finish out our European vacation we saw the Christ Church.  This one had an underground area which the kids thought we really cool.  They crack me up as they have taken up the kneeling and praying in everyone we entered.    It was a really nice church.

Dublin Castle

We walked from the Temple Bar to Dublin Castle.  This is not a very impressive castle but is the one in use today for Ireland.
