Lava Fields

Thomas wants to be a volcanologist when he grows up.  This summer has been his summer of fun!  The LOVED the Lava Fields!!  He was in heaven!  Loved picking out his lava rock, climbing all over and just checking everything out.  It was really cool to see such a large lava field!!

Timberline

The first stop on our OR vacation was at Timberline lodge.  The kids have been to Mt. Hood numerous time but never all the way to Timberline.  Since we were headed east we decided to stop up there and check it out.  The kids had a blast playing in the snow and watching the skiers.  

 

 

1,000th Post!!

This is a totally random post but since this is my 1000th post I find it fitting!  I never thought I would make it 1,000 post on this blog.  It seems like just yesterday that I started blogging.  Looking back we have moved from Bartlesville to Katy to Saudi Arabia.  It is crazy to think that is all on this site!!  I love that I have been able to turn my blog into books that my kids can keep forever and that they love looking through!  I love that it allows my family who we have scattered around can watch my kids grow up!!  Here's to 1,000 more post in the coming years!! 

Pilot Fun!

Leaving Jackson Hole the kids were lucky enough to meet the pilot of our plane.  He invited them up to the cockpit and then used Lily's Ipad to take pictures of them in the co-pilots seat.  The kids were loving it!!
