Celebration of Culture

Girl Scouts ended out the year with a Celebration of Culture.  With huge mix of girls it worked out well.  They are working on their social butterfly badge and needed to experience other cultures foods.  We have American, Egyptian, Saudi Arabian, Korean, Kazakhstan, Jordian, German and British girls in our troop.  They truly come from all over!  We invited the families and had a great night!

Garden Shop Tour

The Girl Scouts took a tour of the Garden Shop here on camp.  The ladies did a great job telling the girls all about the plants that grow here and helping them plant their own.  It was a nice tour!

G.S. HMYA Campout

We had our first Girl Scout campout without parents.  We had it at the Yacht Club.  It started out rough.  No tents or buses.  Thankfully the tents came quickly and our Saudi girls drivers were able to take us out.  The girls cooked their own meals, had a campfire, went geocashing and swimming.  It was a fun time!
