Bike Shop

Thomas' scout troop went to visit a bike shop here in town to work on earning their biking belt loop. They all enjoyed seeing where they fix them and learning to be safe riders!

Do I Smell Fire!

Last night Tom & I came down the stairs to a burning smell. After a lot of searching we found the cause. Our dishwasher had burnt itself and all our dishes up!! It was so hot it melted the racks, and even the spinny deal underneath! THANK GOD we were home!!!

Part Fish

I have decided that Lily must be part fish!!! She is in the pool as soon as we get home everyday! The other day I came out to find her going down the slide in the deep end without a floaty and swimming to the side! Who taught her that? She hasn't had swim lessons yet. After seeing her in the water I think she just needs to start the swim team! Forget the lessons!

Lily's Dance Recital

Lily had her last dance recital with Mrs. Sarah! She has LOVED dancing with her!! This time she was a "car." I think Lily thinks that because it was to the theme of the Cars Movie. It was cute!

Field Day

Thomas had his field day at school. He ended up getting 1st place. There were about 40 station that they rotated to on their own. In each they would compete against one or two people. Thomas had a lot of fun!

Lily's Pool Party

Lily had her birthday party at the house. She wanted a rock star pool party! She is all about the pool this year. It was a lot of fun! There were a ton of people here. She LOVED swimming with all her friends!

Driving me Nuts!

I have decided that Lily is going to be the one that drives me over the edge. The week of her birthday she decided that she had to have these stupid little rubber band shaped bracelets. (My 8th graders had been wearing them for a week and are driving me crazy with them!) I drove all over town looking for them but they are all sold out! (We did the same thing at X-mas over the zu zu pets, Grammylu finally bought them off ebay.) The day of her birthday one of my co-workers walked in after school and dropped a huge handful on my desk and told me to tell Lily Happy Birthday! Thanks Madison!!! You saved me!! The next morning Lily got up dressed herself and picked up Hippo to take to school. Here she is all ready to go. You notice she has on her new clothes, shoes, lipstick and bracelets! Surly this can not be my daughter!

My Baby's 5

Lily turned 5. It is hard to believe that my baby is 5. She will start kindergarten next year. As she was eating her cake she ask if that meant that next week she would get to go to Thomas' school. It was too cute! She is so ready to start kindergarten. We had her home party where she opened presents from Grandma, Grandpa and us. She got some new clothes which she liked so well she had to go change into them before doing cake. She also got a hippo pillow pet which he had really been wanting. She was so excited! She got several other items she loved as well.
