Family Reading Night

We went to Family Reading Night at Thomas' school. They had a guy who was singing songs quizzing the kids. Thomas was excited because he got to wear his PJ's and see his friends.

Well again I donated my hair and HATE it! I keep telling myself it is for a good cause. They took 11 inches . I did this in honor of Mimi's fight against cancer. She is doing well!!! I went in last night to check on Lily before heading off to bed and this is how I found her! I am not sure how the blood running to her head didn't wake her up!! The camera flash did. Luckily Daddy was there to catch her! This might be one of the funniest ways we have seen her sleep yet!

Zoo & Herman Park

We had Monday off for MLK day so we headed down to the zoo. It was a lot of fun. We took a picnic lunch which we had in Herman Park when we were done at the zoo. The kids had a blast seeing all the animals and wandering around the Park. It is a HUGE area downtown! Great day off!

It's a Miracle-Thomas Scored!

Thomas has started Basketball. It has been trying. Some days he LOVES it and some he HATES it! His first game was fun to watch. They were actually better than I thought 6 years olds would be. The second game was a thriller! They won it in overtime! Thomas even made a goal. Which if you watch the video you can tell is a miracle! He just sorta dances across the floor, has no clue what is going on and is kinda in his own world. It is good for a laugh! I am hoping that making a basket will make him like it a little more! We will see.

Sadie Visits!

Sadie came down from Bartlesville to check out University of Houston and talk to the softball coach. She is a Junior now. Hard to believe she is getting so old I still picture her as an 8th grader! We were able to go out to dinner with her and her mother. It was a GREAT evening!!!! The kids miss her so much! Lily even offered for her to live with us. It's amazing that a babysitter can have such on kids! They LOVE Miss Sadie!

Rock Stars!

The kids got a wii for Christmas as well as a karaoke machine. They now think they are rock stars. Thomas has even written his own song! It is all about Great Wolfe Lodge that Grandma & Grandpa took them too. Enjoy!

A Bed fit for a Princess!!! Daddy LOVE!

Since the house alarm went off Lily has not slept in her bed. We thought if we gave her a fabulous bed she would sleep in her room and bed again. So far it has not worked. Tom spent hours building this bed for Lily and I painted it. She wanted pink but I couldn't bring myself to paint it totally pink so it is mostly purple with pink shelves. We also hung two strands of icicle lights so she can't be scared of the dark. She LOVES it so long as she doesn't have to sleep in it. We are at a loss for what to do with her. We have now tried everything, bribery, punishment, threats, and lots of love. Anyone have suggestions?

We were able to clean out the cradle and put all the stuffed animals on top. Now she can use the cradle for her babies.

New Rooms!

Both kids got new rooms. Lily's will have her own post it is so cool! This is there new accessories for their bathroom. They got them as Christmas presents from Grammylu. THANK YOU! They look fantastic!! We also picked up my brothers old head board for Thomas' bed. It looks great! It matches his dino sheets and gives him more room for his special things. His "Specials shelf" was running out of room.

Christmas-College Station

After coming back from Oregon we went to College Station to have Christmas with Grammylu, Papa, Daniel & Megan. It was fun! The kids got a ton there as well! THANKS!

Lily and her Zhu Zhu pet! She started asking for this in Sept. If I had known they would be impossible to find I would of bought it then. We have Grammylu to thank for the two she received. Grammylu spent a lot of time on Ebay to get them for her. THANKS GRAMMYLU!
